Welcome, and thank you for purchasing (and activating) a copy of Monolith’s 2001. In this tour, we will give a brief overview of the operating system, features, included software, and more! But first, let’s get you an account! Click “next” to proceed. Please choose a Nickname and a password for your Monolith account. If you already have an existing account, click the "Log In" option. You can set up additional accounts as needed in the Backstage menu. Click “next” to proceed. Great! With your account, you are able to access your own secure desktop, storage, applications, and files. Other users on this computer will not be able to access your data unless you willingly choose to share it with them. With that out of the way, let’s get started! Click “next” to proceed. Operating System Overview: With Monolith’s 2001, you are experiencing the cutting edge of technology. Powered by Monolith’s 200X architecture, 2001 is Monolith’s new flagship Operating System for the consumer market, powerful enough for games, but friendly enough for everyone to use! Click “next” to proceed. When you log into 2001, you will be greeted with the all new desktop, redesigned for a new millennium. Of course, your navigator button is still in the left hand corner, and your icons still reside on the desktop, but we have some new features to make your desktop even more useful than before. New kinds of icons, called “widgets” can give you on the fly, updated information, as well as other functions! You can check the weather, check the stock market, and even write notes using just the pre-installed widgets on your system, with more available to download from the Monolith website, under the “widgets” tab! Click “next” to proceed. Monolith’s Internet Portal has been upgraded for the new millennium as well, with a brand new, fresh user interface, and a brand new free service exclusive to Monolith PCs, Monolith’s Premiernet, a way to connect with other Monolith users with your very own free websites and tagging functions, accessible with your Monolith PC and any internet connection! Just log on to monolith.ipa/premiernet to sign up! And if you are completely new to the internet, we have other video tutorials to assist you in the help center, in the Backstage menu! Click “next” to proceed. This brings us to the end of our quick tour, enjoy your brand new operating system from Monolith. Monolith Computers: The Future has Never Been Brighter.
